Two and a Half Men had been on the air for quite some time and it is considered as one of the hit comedy TV series recently. The show is set to do a new season but there had been reports that the filming of the new season of Two and A Half Men might be delayed because of certain events involving one of its lead stars Charlie Sheen.

Sheen has been involved in some legal issues which may caused the delay of filming the new season of the hit TV series. Apparently the hearing for domestic violence of Charlie Sheen which had been scheduled to begin earlier this week had been moved and delayed until August 2, 2010. This will also be the set date when they will be starting to film the new season of Two and a Half Men. According to reports that Sheen’s attorney has delayed the hearing to be able to allow both parties to pursue a plea disposition which can be possible. With this Sheen will have to wait on how his fate would go before filming Two and a Half Men’s new season. He may start filming on the next day August 3.

Reports said that Sheen had a deal with the Chief Deputy DA Arnold Mordkin to just spend 17-30 days in jail in exchange for his plea of no contest to charges of domestic violence. But when a staff member refused to accept the deal which involved the work release program of Sheen his attorneys yanked their agreement on the table. Although both camps continued discussing about this but there was steal no deal set.

This can turn into 2 drastically different directions for Sheen. If found guilty Sheen will face as much as 2 years in jail for the charges that include felony menacing. While on the other hand if Sheen decides to fight for the charges then the judge can restrict the evidence due to the Miranda violations and that the prosecutors will have no evidence to go to a trial because they have a very weak case.
