Two and a Half Men 9.15 “The Duchess of Dull-In Sack” Review

The week’s episode of Two and a Half Men was filled with carnal interludes and so many loyal subjects. As far as the relationship between Zoey and Walden is concerned, the two seem to have reached a point in their relationship where it suddenly seems boring. However, this might all be done away with, that is if they decide to visit more zoos in the future. One thing that is so difficult to understand is the reason why Zoey is so reluctant to say certain things. This is especially since she is supposed to be British and they are known for being so formal and looking for better words to say all the time. They are known for making endeavors to replace vulgar words with others like randy and frisky. It is no wonder that Berta called her Mary Poppins, which could be looked at as hitting the nail on the head.

In the beginning, Zoey seemed to have some bit of trust issues. However, when Walden hit it off with her daughter, the trust issues were thrown out of the window. We can only hope that their relationship keeps getting stronger. The show also introduced us to Zoey’s ex-husband in the episode ‘Duchess of Dull In Sack’, who also happens to be the 177th in line for the throne. We were also introduced to her daughter, a sweet child, who is also responsible for giving Walden his new name, Sir Schmidt. On the other hand, her ex is what can be considered as a total douche bag.

Though the week’s episode was unusually low on jokes, Jake, Berta and Eldridge managed to pull it off. The three had the best lines all night, especially the part where Jake suggests to Eldridge that they could be ringers together, or the time they find Berta’s brownies. Another interesting thing about the episode was how Berta was racist and joking about shoes and Poland. When these three were talking, it was impossible to stop laughing. It was really good to see that other characters were getting a little more screen time than they originally did. Alan also managed to get in a few jokes during the episode.

Ashton looks kind of young with that haircut. However, all in all, the episode was really good. The return of Judy Geer is very much anticipated. We can also only hope that the real Zoey is finally found by Eldridge and Jake. We should also wish Zoey’s ex-husband good luck with her succession, seeing as he is at the end of a very long list.
