The New York Times calls it “the biggest hit comedy of the past decade”, it has consistently been among the TOP 25 programs on television since its premiere in 2003 and for the five out of past six seasons, it has been rated as the best sitcom.

Created by Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn, Two and a Half Men is a story that simultaneously touches on many aspects of life; dating, sex, single parenthood, love, loneliness, money and divorce to name a few. The tree main characters of the story are a lonely billionaire Walden Schmidt, his friend Alan Harper and his son Jake. The three (or two-and-a-half ?) men live together at Schmidt’s place. Schmidt and Alan meet at a bar and later he offers Alan to come and live with him. Alan gladly accepts the offer as it saves him from his narcissistic mother Evelyn. Alan is a divorcee. He married twice but seems to have no luck with women. Despite this he advises Schmidt on how to deal with women. The three men are like a family and have only a sharp tongued housekeeper named Berta to take care of them.
Jon Cryer plays Alan Harper on the show while Jake Harper is played by Angus T. Jones. Ashton Kutcher appears as Walden Schmidt and Conchata Ferrel’s character is the housekeeper Breta.
